What to expect

Here are the answers to frequent questions about Calvary Chapel Brasov

  • What Should I Wear?

At Calvary Chapel Brasov, we have people from all walks of life. The Bible tells us that man looks on the outward appearance but God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). Most people dress comfortably and we are not concerned with trying to impress each other. We are more concerned about honoring God by the way we live. Our hearts, therefore, are more important than our apparel. We are happy to invite you to CAME AS YOU ARE!

  • How would you describe the worship style?

Our main goal is to honor God. Our style is mostly contemporary worship music, both Romanian and English, with some traditional hymns and choruses blended in from time to time. You will find a relaxed atmosphere, where everyone seeks to worship the Lord with their singing,.

  • How long do the services last?

Our typical services last about an hour and 30 minutes each. Some are shorter and some are longer. Even though our services may be a little longer than what you are accustomed to, they are definitely not boring. The teaching is in Romanian and since in our church family we have English speakers we have translation provided. Our goal is to challenge you to be a follower of Christ thorough every single thing we do in our service time.

  • What are your denominational beliefs?

Calvary Chapel Brasov is a non-denominational church that focuses on what unites us rather than what divides us. We believe in the early church creed “in essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; and in all things, love.” You can read our statement of faith by clicking here Our beliefs

  • Do You Pass a Collection Plate for Tithes and Offerings?

We do not pass a collection plate to take up a morning offering; instead, we have an offering box located in the back of the room for those who call Calvary Chapel Brasov their home and who feel led to partner with us in this ministry.
